Letter to my father

♡I miss you, Dad. A lot lately. In fact, I've caught myself dialing your phone number on a couple of occasions just to tell you exciting news or to ask your advice. Did you just see that wild herd of horses running down Cherry Lane by my house? Pretty odd, eh? Well I called animal control...you know me. I wonder every day what your new, heavenly life is like. But I know it's grand. Hey, I am now a bone marrow donor and am still continuing my work with the  #LLSIdahoandmontana. It has now grown to become one of my main passions. They are all like my second family. ♡ So, I know you are well aware that our beloved Liberty Belle passed away a week ago. I promised her that you would be right there waiting to take her into your loving arms. Also as you know, Ben left for his 2 week cruise today. I told him that you said cruises are shit, as you have to wait 45 minutes to take a pee from all the wine you drink, lol. Please be here with me through the lonely times. On the next sun shiny day we have, I plan on releasing your balloons up to Heaven...sorry that I have fallen a bit behind. OH and by the way, who was the stranger in the hospital that day who gave me the beautiful necklace and muttered to me that my dad is proud of me?? Who was the man whom appeared from nowhere and told me that he was positive that my parents are proud of me; along with all the other "unexplainable" events which continue to transpire in my life? I'm sure you enjoyed my final thesis paper from creative writing, you know, the one about my inquiring if divine intervention truly exists. I aced it, Daddy. As you know my passion for writing, well I have good news...I am finally at the starting point of making my biggest dream come true; that being, I am ready to put my fingers to the keyboard and begin my book! If I write one page a day, without my incessant self editing slowing me down, my book will be completed within 365 days. I can envision the smile upon your face. That makes my heart smile!♡♡♡♡
